After coming to Rhadames to find the Cup of Healing Lid, your party

 

encountered refugees from the destroyed Aergal Kingdom.

 

You tried to help them while making inquiries about the cup lid, but its whereabouts remained a mystery.

 

 

Eventually you met Sylvania, the princess of Aergal, and obtained the lid,

 

but the Cup of Healing remained inactive.

 

You then heard ominous news while searching for the means to use the cup.

 

 

Finally, Hiver appeared, and the threat approached.

 

The Childs were all flooding into Radames...

Frozen Heart is an item that can be inserted into equipment (Lower body, Gloves) slots.

 

Use the special item [Muertos' Magic Orb] to add a slot to Lower body/Gloves versions of [Minos Armor], [Minos Armor (Duplicate)], [Insight, Devotion Minos Armor], [Heavenly Minos Armor], and [Amplified Heavenly Minos Armor].

 

When a slot is added, all enhancements, stats, and additional stats are retained.

 

2-slot [Minos Armor] enhancement, disassembly, and evolution works the same as for the current 1-slot version.

This is a developer’s note to inform you about the September PvP Big Bang update.

 

Given that direct competition occurs between heroes, PvP should provide a fair environment.


Existing PvP was often considered unfair and unreasonable, and it seems the main reason for this evaluation was that skills became imbalanced.

 

 

We've been preparing to remove these unreasonable aspects since the beginning of this year.


The goal was to resolve Super Armor and class and skill-specific balance issues that were identified as chronic problems.


We reviewed 46 class skills, and solved the problem using the mantras of 'simplification' and 'equality.'

 

 

Super Armor Simplification


Both the attacker and the defender will be more confident when it comes to relying on and attempting to destroy Super Armor.

 

 

Dragon Nest's Super Armor system is a fun element in combat situations.


Super Armor attack and defense requires instantaneous situational judgment, giving you a different feeling than when evading, and the more skilled you are, the more advantageous you can use this element in battle.


However, the question of whether Super Armor would be neutralized or not was critical, yet this situation was not intuitive and could cause stress.

 

 

Therefore, we have simplified the Super Armor rating standard. It is now divided into 5 grades instead of the previous 10.


Since most skills are divided into advanced, intermediate, and lower grades, we expect you to be able to make situational judgments more intuitive now.

 

 

Skill Equality


Goodbye to skills you can't react to! So long to skills that kill in one blow!

 

The value of a skill is determined by various specification, such as activation speed, duration, and damage dealt.
Skills meant to keep the enemy in check at high speed are weak in damage, but fast to activate, while those dealing high damage have a long cooldown.

 

 

However, new skills in recent years often have specifications that shatter this common formula.


There are even powerful skills with a wide range that are hard to avoid, but punishing when they land, and that even have high Super Armor attack power!


PvP has become detested by many because these unreasonable skills have become more common.

 

Fairness is an element of common sense, and we will continue to modify skill designs in these unfair situations.
If necessary, we will revise PvE specifications as well.

The latests modifications are not intended to completely overturn the balance or to create a new inter-class hierarchy.


PvP is always touchy because the relative deprivation incurred by balance tweaks is more greatly felt.


But we won't use caution as an excuse. 


We will continue to respond so that we provide an environment our heroes can understand.


We will rebalance and remake environments not only in PvP, but also in PvE so that our heroes can enjoy PvE as it should be.

Prior to making the decision to change the design of the skill, the skill prerequisites were modified so that Duelist players could select how Blading Edge would be used. We will further review the situation in case further improvements are deemed necessary in the future.

※ Harmattan can only be used as a follow up after Blading Edge and Aircraft. Because the situations where the skill is available are limited, we decided to try adjusting it to enable earlier activation, depending on the situation.

3. Cooldown Buff-related Revisions

 

※ Developer’s comment: Until this update, some character skills did not receive certain cooldown effects. e.g.) [Beyond Time]

 

Though there were several types of cooldown-related effects available, different ones were unique to each skill, and  some skills were made exceptional by mistake as a result of this chaotic mishmash.

 

With these modifications, we made sure skills classified as not receiving certain cooldown buffs were also not influenced by other types of cooldown buffs, ensuring that no skills were left out.

 

- [Might Skill] and [Harmony Skill], which are added with Awakened EXTEND, were changed so that they do not receive cooldown-related buffs.
